![]() ![]() Yes, and Mario had some of these too, but if Mario can simplify its level making and put it into a game, then I see no reason why Sonic couldn't do the same thing. I know some people would say: Oh well yeah that's a thing it's called rom hacks. For example you could have the very first boss of Robotnik, but instead of having a swinging ball, you swap it out and replace with the horizontal spiked mace chain from Marble Garden, and maybe have Robotnik go back and forth across the floor itself in order to keep the player on his toes, having to time their jumps if they want to try and go in close to hit him, again there's potential in my eyes. You could have levels that start off in a Sandopolis type setting, but suddenly the level starts to shift into a more Chemical Plant feel, with the pipes, going underground, the purple water housed underneath the treasure, there's a lot of creative potential to be had if it was put into a Mario Maker type game.īosses could be tricky, but perhaps it would be an option to edit certain boss fights that exist. ![]() You could give everyone the entire library of ascetics from Sonic 1, 2, 3&K, CD and Mania. There's a variety of things that can come out of a Sonic Maker type game. ![]()
